There is no doubt Switzerland is one of the top destinations in the world.

Its mighty Alps, lakes, greenery and quaint villages are visited by millions every year. This time, our tour to Switzerland features unforgettable train rides through spectacular sites most of which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. One of the routes we'll be taking is the first in the world to be photographed and put on Google Street View. Soon after you embark your train you'll know why the area has been added to the list! 

 

We, first, start in the great city of Lucerne and then move to Lugano to enjoy walking by its beautiful lake and discover its little streets lined by lovely little shops.  And then, drive to the Italian border town, Tirano where our train will be waiting to take us to Samedan near St Moritz through one of the top 3 train routes in the world. Next, we head to the resort village of Andermatt to be amazed by its natural beauty . And then, following another great train ride we see the Matterhorn and continue onto Geneva located on the shores of a beautiful lake, Lac Leman . 

 

End the trip in Geneva and treasure the great moments !

MAY 16 LUCERNE 

Arrival at Zurich airport and transfer to our Zurich Hotel. Welcome Dinner ( included )

 

MAY 17 LUCERNE 

This morning we are departing Zurich by train to discover Lucerne. Strolling through its lovely streets in both old and new quarters, we see the lovely painted houses and the world famous 14th century wooden bridge that has become the symbol of the city.

MAY 18 LUCERNE / LUGANO 

Today we check out from the hotel with our luggage and head to the boat station to cruise along the Lake Lucerne on the first class part of the boat. The cruise is considered to be one of the top in the world. Following an amazing 2 hour boat ride we're hopping on a train and travelling to Lugano.

MAY 19 TIRANO / SAMEDAN

This morning, our destination is one of the most exclusive towns in the Alps. First, we are taking our bus to the Italian border city, Tirano where our world famous train is waiting to welcome us on board. Following an amazing UNESCO route, we're arriving at St Moritz. This is where the rich and famous hang around and spend their holidays, or own a chalet !

MAY 20 SAMEDAN / ST MORITZ / SAMEDAN

Today we are departing our hotel to start discovering the famed Engadine valley around St Moritz situated along a small lake at the altitude of 1775 m. In the morning, we'll be on a walking tour around the area and in the afternoon enjoy free time in St Moritz.

MAY 21 SAMEDAN / ANDERMATT 

Today we are headed to Andermatt following another world famous route seeing spectacular views with rivers, waterfalls, lakes and tunnels from the moment the journey begins to the moment you check in your Andermatt hotel.

MAY 22 ANDERMATT / MATTERHORN / GENEVA 

This morning we're driving to the central station to take our train to beautiful Geneva; the second largest city in Switzerland. On the way we stop at Zermat, one of the most picturesque regions in Switzerland, and see the Matterhorn...

MAY 23 GENEVA 

Following breakfast, we enjoy an orientation tour around the city seeing the flower clock, one of the city's parks, the fountain and the lake.
